With Melissa Harrison
In June 2024, Melissa Harrison was staying at Alt lab as part of the COST-funded TOOLKIT OF CARE programme. On Wednesday, 26.06, at 18.00 hr, she will hold a workshop where she will present the handbook she has created during the residency. The handbook outlines critical concepts related to (urban) common(s) and commoning that are cut with vignettes and improvisational scores. The scores, which we will work with, draw on somatic practices and speculative worldings to frame a collective exploration.
The workshop is organized by the Institutio Media. It is part of the COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology)-funded project: Toolkit of Care (TOC), CA21102. Alt lab is a non-disciplinary research laboratory dedicated to artistic-scientific research and implementation of interdisciplinary projects.
For the workshop, please register at o-o@o-o.lt.
Melissa Harrison is a Berlin-based researcher and practitioner working across somatic, social, and spatial practice; transformative pedagogies; and urban performativity and justice. Her doctoral research explored the choreographies of common(ing) space: (un)learning and (un)making the city.
